We happily share this greatful updates to our international supporters, Kajiinomiya Goryu officially joined Ikebana International this year.
Ikebana International is "a worldwide organization dedicated to the promotion of mutual understanding and friendship through ikebana" and was founded in 1956 in Tokyo, Japan. Currently working as a cultural non-profit organization with more than 7000 members and 50 branches all around the world.
Kajiinomiya Goryu had been asked to join the organization several times but never felt the right timing. Today, we have decided to finally be a part of it, not only because there are a few Kajiinomiya Goryu students living abroad but mainly because we'd love to work with Ikebana International to promote and share the beauty of Japanese Art and Ikebana.
At the November Monthly Meeting held at The Embassy of India, The Headmaster Socho Fujiwara did a Live Ikebana Demonstration and arranged 2 Ikebana works. We are delighted to our new start and the future ahead with Ikebana International. We will share some posts about it on our official Instagram account, so please stay tuned.
