At Kanagawa University Minatomirai, Yokohama.

We are pleased to announce the upcoming 21st Anniversary Commemorative Exhibition celebrating the headmaster succession of Isshōsai Fujiwara Sochō, 21st Headmaster of the Kajiinomiya Goryu School of Ikebana. The exhibition will be held at the Kanagawa University Minato Mirai Campus in Yokohama.

Marking the 21st anniversary of the succession, this special exhibition will be presented in collaboration with members of the university’s Ikebana Club KADO~Japanese Flower Arrangement~ —where Headmaster Fujiwara has been guiding students in the art of ikebana as a way of passing the tradition on to younger generations.

With the university’s new campus established in 2021 in the Minato Mirai 21 district, this exhibition highlights a joyful coincidence around the number “21”, and is filled with symbolism and significance.

We warmly invite you to visit Yokohama and enjoy the works on display. We look forward to welcoming you.
